The ProtoX2D is the first affordable LIDAR primarily for the hobbyists and experimental markets. This model scans 360 degrees in one plane.

PLUG-N-PLAY: No coding necessary. Simply plug it in via the MICRO USB CABLE INCLUDED and read angle and distance data.

BE ADVISED: The Laser used in this LIDAR unit will not perform very well in bright sunlight or against very BLACK colored objects.

What exactly is Lidar?

LIDAR, which stands for Light Detection and Ranging, is a remote distance sensing method that uses light, a laser, to measure ranges.
